Summary

Nadia completed her BSc in Biomedical Sciences and an MSc in Immunology of Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She worked as a research student at the National Institute of Medical Research (NIMR) Mill Hill, and spent a year working on molecular virology in the Respiratory Virus Unit at Public Health England during the Swine Flu pandemic.
Nadia continued working in the field of molecular immunology and genetics from 2012 to 2015 when she worked as research assistant to Dr Daniel Gale at UCL Centre for Nephrology.
As a PhD student supervised by Professor Xiao-Ning Xu, Nadia is setting up a TCR cloning system whereby antigen-specific T cells can be used as immunotherapy for infectious diseases and cancer.
