Artwork in the Flowers Building by FJ GaylorWhen preparing a proposal and approaching partners or other organisations, the PI and the researchers involved should be mindful of the College’s Conflict of Interest Policy. A College Member must disclose any  financial or non-financial interest or relationship with a proposed partner, organisation or body that may compromise their obligations either to the College or to the Third Party, and/or may detrimentally affect the project outcomes.

If a College Member has a Conflict of Interest (actual, perceived or potential), they have a duty to disclose it and to take appropriate actions as may be appropriate at Pre-Award stage, gaining the relevant approvals before proceeding with the relationship.
