Bookings are now open for the Technicians Today event at Imperial College, Scale Space.
This event will focus on method sharing.

White City Facility Tours

The Departments of Chemistry and Bioengineering are opening their doors to give technical staff the opportunity to see their cutting-edge new facilities in White City.
This guided visit will include Chemistry Research's new home in the £170 million Molecular Sciences Research Hub (MSRH), taking in open-plan laboratory research and office spaces, the state-of-the-art Agilent Measurement Suite and the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Facility.You will also visit the 13-storey Sir Michael Uren Hub, which houses next-generation facilities for interdisciplinary research initiatives across Imperial's departments and faculties.

Technicians Today
A brand-new collaboration.
Imperial has established an exciting new collaboration with technical staff networks at the Francis Crick Institute, UCL and King's College London. Funded by the Crick's networking partnership fund, the TECHNICIANS TODAY initiative will run for one year initially and will include a quarterly networking and CPD event at each of the four partner institutions.
It is an opportunity for technical staff to share expertise, explore themes of common interest and grow your network. The first event will have a careers focus.

- 14 December 2023 - Imperial College London
- 20 March 2024 - King's College London
- 12 June 2024 – UCL
We welcome applicants to deliver a mini talk at the final two events at Kings and UCL to represent Imperial.
This will be about a method you use, a project you work on, or an idea you have! We would love to hear from you and can support you to prepare.
