Important information for Princes Garden's arrivals between 29 and 30 June 2019

The Great Exhibition Road Festival is a free three-day celebration of curiosity, discovery and exploration in South Kensington taking place on 28, 29 and 30 June, from 11.00 - 19.30. Please note that activities in Prince's Gardens conclude by 5 pm. 

Due to the Festival, the area around Prince's Gardens will be busier than usual with some access restrictions and we recommend the following alternative routes.

By public transport

If you are arriving by tube, please use Gloucester Road Tube station. At the exit, turn left on Gloucester Road. At the first set of traffic lights, turn right onto Cromwell Road. Walk past the Natural History Museum. At the second set of traffic lights, turn left on Exhibition Road. Take the second right onto Princes Gate. Walk past the barrier for approximately 20m. The entrance of Prince's Gardens Check-in Centre and Reception will be on your right-hand side.

By taxi

please be advised that Exhibition Raod will be closed during the Festival.

The nearest drop off point will be in front of Weeks Hall, 16 – 18 Prince's Gardens, SW7 1NE.

For Prince's Gardens Check-in Centre and Reception, please cross the road and enter the gardens. You should have the gardens on your right hand-side and Prince's Gardens Eastside Hall on your left-hand side. Walk until the end of the path. Turn right. Walk for approximately 30m. The entrance of the Check-in centre will be on your left-hand side.

By car (parking)

Please note that there we will not be able to offer to park on site between Friday 28 June and Sunday 30 June due to the road restrictions. For alternative parking arrangements, please visit the NCP website

South Kensington Underground Station (Circle, District and Piccadilly lines)

Directions At South Kensington station, turn right into the subway sign-posted for the museums and continue until you reach the very end of the subway (Exit 3). At the exit, walk up all the steps and turn left up Exhibition Road and walk for approximately three minutes towards Hyde Park. Take the second street on the left - Prince Consort Road. Walk for two minutes until you have passed the Royal Albert Hall. Beit Hall is the large, red building directly next to the steps and the front entrance is located half way along the front of the building.
By Car

We have a limited number of car parking spaces available for our summer accommodation guests which must be booked in advance. Overnight parking available from 18.00 until 10.00 for £20.00 per night (accommodation guests only). Please note: Outside of these times, the following car park charges apply.

There will be no car parking available for summer accommodation guests from Friday 28 June to Monday 1 July (inclusive) due to the Imperial Festival.

If you are staying in Prince's Gardens, please make your way to the Reception/Check-in centre located in Falmouth Hall, Prince's Gardens Southside.

By Car By Car – Car parking on site is free of charge, subject to availability and limited.
