WE Innovate is Imperial’s flagship programme for women entrepreneurs. The programme has proven its value and impact over the past decade and intends to expand this support within Imperial and beyond. We have supported over 500 women to date, but we can do more. Building on Imperial’s experience of developing an entrepreneurial ecosystem with diversity at its core, we are seeking partners to scale WE Innovate on a national scale, launching in a further six regions across the UK.
The Women-Led High-Growth Enterprise Taskforce Report acknowledges that outside London lies a significant untapped potential: there is a lack of adequate access to crucial resources such as capital, networks, role models, guidance, and acceleration programs. By facilitating access to these essential resources, we develop the potential within these businesses, supporting their expansion and success.
