Explore the hub and your new workplace
Welcome to your new White City Hub. This space has been designed to support different ways of working, whether you need a quiet place to focus, a workspace for collaboration, or a comfortable spot to take a break.
Explore the floor plan to see the key areas and how they can support your day in the office.
Our Imperial reception is the first point of contact for staff and visitors, and is staffed from 08.00 - 18.00, Monday to Friday.
Our Workplace team is on hand to provide directions, coordinate with building management for visitors, and ensure a welcoming experience for everyone.
Roots Café is your new one-stop-shop for hot lunches, grab-and-go snacks, healthy treats, and - of course - fresh barista coffee right in the heart of the White City Hub.
Whether you’re taking a break or catching up with colleagues, Roots Café provides a comfortable setting for both work and downtime.
The Wellbeing Zone is a dedicated space to support physical and mental wellbeing. The zone includes:
- Sensory room: A calming space designed to help with relaxation.
- Wellbeing Room and First Aid: A private area for health-related needs, offering a quiet place to rest or receive first aid support.
- Contemplation room: A peaceful space for quiet reflection, or meditation.
- Parent's Room: A comfortable and private space for pregnant staff and new parents to attend to personal needs.
The Staff Tea Points provide free bean-to-cup coffee, tea, and milk supplies. There is a provision of ten microwaves and eight fridges (four full-size, four half-size), and dishwashers are also available.
All staff have personal, assigned lockers, offering secure and convenient storage for daily essentials such as laptops, keyboards, and shoes.
Lockers are situated in various locations across the hub, and are allocated to staff during their workplace induction. The Workplace team will aim to assign these close to a team's neighbourhood area.
The Multi-Activity Room sits alongside the Wellbeing Zone, and is a flexible space used for a variety of activities.
This space hosts free daily Just Move sessions, including Zumba, core workouts, deep-rest yoga, Pilates, and Tai Chi, offering a chance to refresh your mind and restore your energy during the workday.
The White City Hub has 22 enclosed toilet cubicles with floor-to-ceiling doors, each equipped with a toilet and sink for privacy and convenience. In total there are nine male toilets, nine female toilets, and four universal toilets (of which two are ambulant and two are accessible).
Toilets are evenly distributed across two blocks, one block on either side of the Hub.
There is a range of bookable spaces for group discussions, meetings, or focused project work. The Lynne Cox Boardroom (MW.1M1) and eight meeting rooms (MW.1M2A - MW.1M6) are equipped with screens and video conferencing tools, making collaboration easy, whether in-person or remote.
There is a mixture of pods and collaboration spaces across the White City Hub for focused work and small discussions.
Pods can be reserved on the day by writing your name on the whiteboard outside, and there are a small number of group pods available for advance booking.
These spaces offer a flexible alternative to traditional meeting rooms, and staff are encouraged to make use of these areas for catch-ups, brainstorming sessions, or private work, helping to keep meeting rooms available for larger gatherings.
The Quiet Zone provides a dedicated space for focused, uninterrupted work.
Located across Desks 1-36, 16 desks are available for advance booking up to one month ahead. 20 desks will remain unbookable, offering the flexibility to use the space on an ad-hoc basis when you need it.
The Quiet Zone is designed to provide a calm, distraction-free environment for individual work.
The ICT Tech Bar is a drop-in space where staff can get practical, hands-on support for tech needs. With an open layout and approachable design, it's easy to get quick assistance or spend more time troubleshooting more complex issues.
If the ICT Tech Bar is busy, staff can still contact the ICT Service Desk, as your issue may be resolved remotely.
ICT Tech Bar hours: 09:00 – 17:00
ICT Service Desk hours: 08:30 – 18:00
Out-of-hours support: Available from 18:00 to midnight for critical service disruptions only (not for individual issues).
We've created a flexible and supportive workspace where you can work, collaborate, and recharge. From quiet areas for individual focus to dynamic spaces for team interaction, every corner of the office is designed to suit a variety of workstyles and needs.
We encourage you to explore all the spaces available, make use of the diverse facilities, and find what works best for you throughout your workday.
We hope this floor plan helps you navigate the space and make the most of everything it has to offer.
