Weekly Careers Events Update

Week 2

After a manic first week, the Careers Service is a hive of activity. Last week's Finance & Consulting Careers Fair saw over 1600 students pass through the Queen's Tower Rooms, and on Wednesday more than 140 students visited the Careers Service in a single day! Next week promises to be just as jam-packed with our ever-popular Energy Industry Forum taking place on Thursday. It's your chance to gain an overview of the energy industry and hear from leading industry practitioners. BP, Castleton Commodities International, Schlumberger, Shell and TWD will be attending.

Light bulbs

On Tuesday we have investor, entrepreneur, philanthropist, author, academic, investor and film producer, Muzaffar Khan visiting the Careers Service. As well as meeting with students one-to-one, he'll also be giving a talk about how to get a front office job in Investment Banks.

Finally, the Careers Service has just launched its new Imperial Guide to CVs - an indispensable resource when it comes to writing you CV. Head over to our website to download it now!
