This folder contains a few Excel spreadsheets and a couple of Word documents: a template letter and a shopping list.

Each text file is made up of letters, and each letter is encoded in binary code, as a series of 1s and 0s, in the hard drive's memory.

The formatting and location of each text file is also encoded, so that the computer can easily find it and create the right look.
