António L. Grilo is a PhD Student interested in bioprocess development. At present, his research focuses on mathematical modelling of upstream mAb production. In the past, he was a researcher at the BioSeparations Laboratory at IST, (Lisbon, Portugal) and Amgen, Inc. (Seattle, WA, USA) working in Purification Process Development.

António obtained an MSc. and a BSc. in Biochemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon, Portugal in 2013 and 2011 respectively. He was also a Petroelum Engineering trainee at Galp Energia and obtained an MSc. in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in 2015. He joined Imperial College in 2016.
