Dominik is a research assistant at the Centre for Cryptocurrency Research and Engineering at the Imperial College London. He is working on his PhD degree to bring multi-agent systems onto a distributed ledger. Also, he coordinates research activities with Outlier Ventures to advance the current state of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies with other technologies such as deep learning, IoT, identity management, and bots.

His research is focussed on multi-agent systems and their advantages of using distributed ledgers. This includes objective alignment, negotiation, and norm regulation in an untrusted environment. Recent work includes an empirical study of smart contracts, a trust model for agent systems on a permissionless blockchain, and an algorithm for verifiable computations.
