Hazim Hanif is a PhD student at Imperial College London in the Applied Computer Security (ACS) lab under the supervision of Dr. Sergio Maffeis. He received his masters's degree in computer science by research from the Universiti Malaya, Malaysia on the topic of opinion spam detection.

His research interests include computer security, data sciences and machine learning. He is currently working on detecting software security vulnerabilities using deep representation learning.
