Welcome to the White City Hub

The White City Hub has been designed to support the way we work, making collaboration easier and creating a workspace that feels both practical and welcoming. Through photos and visuals, take a look at what's on offer and how these new spaces can support you and your teams.

The White City Professional Services Hub is a key part of our ongoing efforts to create workspaces that genuinely meet the needs of our teams.

As part of the Professional Services Workspaces programme, this new hub has been designed with flexibility and practicality in mind, offering modern environments that make it easier to collaborate, connect, and work effectively. This isn't just about new spaces - it’s about making sure our work environment helps us do our best work and support each other while also aligning with Imperial’s wider goals.

Imperial reception area
A welcoming first impression.

The branded Imperial reception area creates an open and professional entrance for staff and visitors. With high ceilings, clean lines, and neutral tones, the space is designed to be inviting and functional. The reception desk serves as a clear first touchpoint, making it easy for staff and visitors to find their way and get the support they need.

"Guided by Imperial’s Values, this space will help us strengthen connections, foster collaboration and achieve our strategic goals."

Robert Kerse, Chief Operating Officer

The atrium
A bright, open space to connect.

At the heart of the White City Hub, the atrium brings in natural light and greenery to create a comfortable and adaptable environment. Whether you need a space for a casual catch-up, a moment to recharge, or a quiet break from your desk, the atrium offers a mix of seating and open areas to suit different needs. Warm wooden accents and modern furnishings add to the welcoming feel, making it a space that works for everyone.

ICT Service Desk
On-the-spot tech support.

The ICT Service Desk is a drop-in space where staff can get practical, hands-on support for tech needs. With an open layout and approachable design, it's easy to get quick assistance or spend more time troubleshooting more complex issues.

Whether you need help with setting up a device, solving a software problem, or getting advice on digital tools, the Service Desk is here to help keep work running smoothly.

Boardroom
A space for focused discussions.

Designed for strategic meetings and decision-making, the 24-person boardroom is equipped with AV technology to support both in-person and remote collaboration.

A large display screen and integrated conferencing tools make it easy to share content and connect with colleagues across different locations.

"Thoughtfully designed with input from our community, the hub will support different working styles and foster a positive, inclusive environment."

Kathryn Al-Shemmeri, Chief People Officer

Collaboration space
Flexible areas for teamwork and discussion.

The collaboration spaces are designed to support different ways of working, offering a mix of open tables, comfortable booths, and relaxed seating areas for everything from brainstorming sessions to casual conversations.

The addition of greenery and natural tones creates a welcoming atmosphere, while individual and group pods provide quieter spaces for focused work or small team discussions.

These spaces are designed with flexibility in mind, allowing teams to find the right environment for their needs - whether that's a quiet area for focused work, a space for quick discussions, or somewhere to collaborate on projects.

Adapting to new ways of working

We know that transitioning to a new space and new ways of working can take time. These changes are designed to help teams stay connected and ensure everyone has access to the right types of spaces for different tasks.

We also understand that ways of working evolve over time, and we'll be gathering feedback and conducting regular reviews as we settle into the space. Your input will help ensure the hub works well for everyone, and we're committed to making any necessary adjustments along the way.

Looking ahead

The White City Hub will open its doors in Spring 2025, offering a fresh, modern environment for Professional Services teams.

This is just a snapshot of what the White City Hub has to offer, with many more spaces to discover. Whether it's the peaceful contemplation room, quiet zone for focused work or flexible meeting rooms - there will be lots more to explore.

As we settle in, we'll continue to fine-tune the space based on how it's being used. We look forward to stepping into this new workspace and seeing how it supports the way we work.
