PhD students‌

We have two positions open for the 2023 Intake! Please see below.

NEW: We have a new position available in collaboration with BASF for the development of photo(electro)catalysts to catalyse C-C coupling. This will be part of the CDT React for Next Generation Synthesis and Reaction Technology. This project is advertised on their current opportunities page.

We are also advertising a position in our group for a PhD on solid oxide electrochemical cells! Please find more information on the Departmental PhD opportunities website.

We look for high-achieving PhD applicants from all over the world. To be successful, we recommend you have at least a high 2:1 or equivalent in a related degree, such as Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or Engineering. This should be complemented with relevant laboratory or design experience.
