The Centre for Systems Engineering and Innovation is based in the department for Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London. The co-directors of the Centre are Professor Jennifer Whyte and Dr Ana Mijic. The Centre is further governed by an Advisory Board and an Internal Steering Group.

The Advisory Board provides high-level input regarding the Centres overall strategic direction, advising on its aims, activities and development. The Advisory Board structure includes a Chair, an internal Imperial College London (ICL) board and external board members.

The Steering Committee is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Centre. The committee is led by a Chair and consists of representative(s) from the participating ICL departments and sections, see list.
