I’m new to the Department, how can you help?

A group induction is given to all UG and MSc students at the beginning of their studies (in the first term) as part of their induction programme. There will be tailored 1:1 or small group induction sessions provided to PhDs and staff members when they are registered with the College.

What happens on your induction day?

-      You will meet your Librarian who will support you throughout your time at the Department of Civil and Environment Engineering.

-      You will find out what your Library has to offer in terms of its collections and services.

-      You will learn how to use the Library online catalogue and locate items in the Library.

-      If you miss the timetabled induction session, don’t worry, you can contact the Library to arrange a tailored induction session.
