End of Summer Term
At the End of the Summer Term...
Ensure that you meet all your obligations before you depart in the Summer term.
The summer term formal teaching is normally completed by the end of week 8. The exact deadlines for tests and coursework will be posted on CATe in due course, and in the past these have sometimes been in week 8.
Ensure that you know the various deadlines for the work.
You may depart after the above deadlines if and only if:
- you have submitted all work awaiting marking, and
completed - to the satisfaction of the teaching staff - any other remaining obligations.
NOTE - it is just a concession on our part to permit you to depart before the term officially ends. If any problems arise (e.g. machine failure) severe enough to require us to announce new deadlines, then you will be required to remain here until those new deadlines have passed.
