We offer a range of short courses in Allergy which are available both to students who are enrolled on the MSc in allergy programme, and as stand-alone CPD programmes for GPs, specialist trainees and consultants, nurses, dietitians and other healthcare professionals wishing to improve their ability to manage allergic patients in daily practice.

Course aims

The courses provide an in depth up-to-date overview of the mechanisms, diagnosis and management strategies of specific allergic conditions, including complex areas and latest research with implications for clinical practice. The courses will enable students to gain evidence-based up-to-date knowledge and practical skills to optimally manage allergic conditions in children and adults.

Who should attend?

The courses are suitable for doctors (GPs, specialist trainees and consultants in Allergy, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Respiratory Medicine or ENT), as well as nurses, dietitians, nutritionists and other healthcare professionals wishing to improve their ability to manage allergic patients in daily practice.

Course structure

Allergy short courses are delivered in a blended format through a mixture of face-to-face and online teaching. Leading experts will deliver lectures and interactive sessions with question & answer elements, quizzes, workshops and case-based discussions. For a limited time after the course, you will have access online to all lecture recordings and resources to enable flexible learning. Please check each Allergy course for details of format as this may vary.
