The EDI committee are hosting a fortnightly Friday afternoon NHLI science and culture seminar series. The seminar series relaunches for the new academic year on Friday 8 October.
Webinars will be held every two weeks on Microsoft Teams with a 30 min talk followed by Q&A. This is a great opportunity to hear about the work going on across the whole of the National Heart and Lung Institute, and we encourage everyone to use this as a platform to talk about your work.
To view upcoming seminars please visit our webpages or contact the organisers for details.
Upcoming talks:
5 November: Dr Ossie Stuart – ‘Thinking about disability in higher education. This really matters, but not for the reasons often thought’
19 November: Sally Kim – ‘Lung-derived extracellular vesicles: how are they altered in response to ageing’
3 December: Franz Puttur – ‘Visualising the airway environment: structural-immune cell crosstalk in chronic lung inflammation’
