Join us at the Dyson School of Design Engineering for a series of seminars on Responsible AI, featuring expert speakers who will share their insights on how to develop and deploy AI systems responsibly. The series is chaired by Professor Rafael Calvo.
Talk Abstract
The seminar examines key components of organisational AI governance to help leaders and decision-makers implement responsible AI strategies within companies, universities, charities, and other organisations. Designed as an interactive session, the seminar will invite participants to work in small groups to explore the adoption of an AI system in an organisational setting of their choice. Participants will be invited to (i) design governance mechanisms and procedures for their selected case study, (ii) consider the organisational roles and responsibilities needed for effective oversight, and (iii) explore how the selected organisation’s existing structures and management processes would need to be adapted to support the responsible adoption and use of AI.
