Faculty offices

Image of a calculator The Faculties of Engineering, Medicine and Natural Sciences and the Business School have central offices which coordinate activities across all of their departments. Analysts on a placement in a Faculty Office will usually report direct to the Faculty Finance Officer. Faculty placements offer trainees an insight into the role of a Faculty within the College.

Aspects of the Placement Role could include:

  • Contributing to the budget preparation for the 5-year financial plan
  • Liaising with departments and analysing actual performance against budgeted performance to encourage better forecasting
  • Undertaking a payroll project to ensure Honorariums were being appropriately accounted for
