About NGNI Lab
We are an international, multidisciplinary and highly dedicated team. We are creating innovative neurotechnologies that enable communication between the nervous system and electronic devices and assistive technologies that will improve the quality of life of people with neurodegenerative conditions.
Our ultimate goal is to develop bioelectronics technologies for interfacing with the brain, observing human health and improving wellbeing. Current projects focus on brain machine interfaces, epilepsy, sleep and dementia.
The Next Generation Neural Interfaces (NGNI) Lab is part of the Centre for Bio-Inspired Technology and Circuits & Systems Research Group (EEE Department).
Lab Director: Timothy Constandinou
We are co-located within the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (Bessemer Building) on the South Kensington Campus.
