Summary

Francesca's role in the International Relations Office focuses on supporting priority strategic initiatives and projects, working collaboratively across regions and on various programmes. 

Francesca manages the Global Doctoral Academy, a cohort-building initiative between PhD students at Imperial, and other strategic partners, hosting conferences, seminars and other activities to foster collaboration and interdisciplinary research amongst the students. 

She also supports the management of other international programmes, including the Global Fellows Fund, a Turing funded placement scheme for PhD students, and the undergraduate MIT Student Exchange.

Francesca oversees the day-to-day operations of the IRO and provides events focused support to the IRO and the Global Development Hub.

Francesca holds a Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Sheffield, with a focus on the historic relations between Britain and Northern Ireland. She also has an undergraduate degree in History.
