Summary
Dr. Hui Luo, Rose is focusing on advancing the novel data storage techniques incorporating machine learning. Hui received DPhil in Materials Science from University of Oxford, where she accomplished in-depth research on atomic structure study of polymers, developed high-resolution (S)TEM imaging methodology.
Hui enjoys building things from scratch, defining ambiguous problems and developing solutions based on fundamental science and engineering techniques. Currently, she is actively involved in research on (but not limited to):
- DNA data storage
- Imaging method automating
- Computer vision
- Novel computing technology
Out of academic work, Hui is a voice artist; she can also be found in the gym or hiking in nature in spare time.
