AB - Plasma motilin concentrations were measured in 8 infants with confirmed idiopathic hypertrophic pyloric stenosis, at 30 days post-partum, and 7 age-matched controls. Plasma motilin concentrations were significantly lower in the pyloric stenosis group when compared to the controls.
