Raman microscope

Current status: Working

The Raman system is an automated stage-scanning microscope built around an inverted Leica frame. It uses a 660nm 1000mW Laser Quantum Gem laser, Princeton Instruments Isoplane 320 spectrograph and Andor Newton 970 EMCCD camera. The microscope is equipped with a Thor Labs MLS203-1, and is controlled using VolumeScan, a proprietary piece of software written by the Rowlands lab for rapid prototyping of high-performance automated optical instruments.

Potential users should contact c.rowlands@imperial.ac.uk to discuss whether the microscope will be suitable for their needs.
