Royal Academy of Engineering - Newton Fund programme UK-Indonesia

This partnership is between UK and Indonesia. The UK partner is Imperial College London (ICL) and the Indonesian partners are: from Academia INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG (ITB), INA and from industry: The Indonesian Aerospace (IAe). The main objectives of this industry academia partnership are

1. To develop a robust structural integrity analysis methodology for advanced composite material for aircraft structure.
2. To Strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing in the area of structural integrity analysis methodology for advanced composite material for aircraft structure.
3. To build a strong group in Indonesia which has capacity in structural integrity analysis methodology for advanced composite material for aircraft structure to serve the Aircraft Manufacturers, Airline Industries and Airworthiness Regulator in Indonesia and the Region in order to improve the Safety of Air Transport Industry.
