Dr John Chisholm He is a retired general practitioner and has been a member of various British Medical Association committees including its Council over the last forty years including at present. He was Chair of the BMA’s medical ethics committee for several years and remains a member, and he has  been a member of the General Medical Council and of  the Royal College of General Practitioners Council for several years.
