Aerial view of White City and London

Need to dash to other campuses?

College members can catch the free Imperial campus shuttle bus.

The Shuttle Bus is available for staff and students, providing free transport between the South Kensington, White City and Hammersmith campuses on weekdays, in line with teaching, learning and research responsibilities.

Upcoming changes

In order to simplify your journey, we’re making two changes from Monday 26 February:

  • No need to book: With an expanded fleet of buses now in place, we will be undertaking a trial to remove the requirement to pre-book your journey. You’ll simply be able to hop on and hop off (capacity allowing) at any of our stops. Buses at peak times – normally 8.00-9.15 and 17.00 onwards - are likely to be very busy.
  • Simplified timetable: Although the frequency of service will remain unchanged, the way we display our timetable will be simplified. In line with Transport for London, we will now display each journey as an ‘eastbound’ or ‘westbound’ service, and remove the current ‘red’, ‘yellow’, and ‘green’ labels.
The eastbound service will travel between Hammersmith and South Kensington via White City, whilst the westbound service will run between South Kensington and Hammersmith via White City. We hope this will make it easier to know where you’re heading and when.
