Prior to the commencement of construction work, the Principal Designer (PD) will advise the Project Manager in writing, that the Principal Contractor’s health and safety plan meets the requirements set out in Annex C of the CITB guidance document for Principal Contractors.

The PD will also advise the PM regarding the suitability of the welfare facilities required and set out under Schedule 2 of CDM 2015 and contained within the HSE’s document L153 “Managing Health and Safety in Construction”.
