Our Treatment Room is now open for Osteopathy, Kinesiology and Massage Therapy appointments.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a primary healthcare profession focussing on the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Osteopathic treatment aims to realign, balance and strengthen the body by increasing the mobility of joints, relieving muscle tension and reducing pain, all of which helps the body’s natural ability to heal.

Treatment can help with: General, acute & chronic back or neck pain, headaches (arising from the neck), sports injuries, muscle pain, cramp and joint pains (knee, shoulder, elbow, hip, foot), nerve pain i.e. sciatica, arthritic and rheumatic pain.

Kinesiology

Kinesiology is one of 18 approved therapies by the CNHC – Complimentary & Natural Health Council set up by the government. CNHC is also the holder of an Accredited Register by the PSA - Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, an independent body, accountable to the UK Parliament.

Kinesiology uses simple and safe muscle-response testing techniques to gain an insight into the areas of stress and imbalance within the body system. It encompasses a range of gentle and effective correction techniques to tackle structural, biochemical, electrical and emotional imbalances. Kinesiology uses specialised lymphatic massage, gentle structural manual manipulation, nutrition support and lifestyle advice if needed, energy reflexes (using gentle acupressure), and emotional releasing techniques to balance the body as a whole.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy focuses on the treatment of muscle related pain or dysfunction assisting in pain / injury management and rehabilitation. Sports and remedial massage follows a structured diagnostic approach based on a detailed understanding of anatomy and physiology. Regular massage helps the body cope with the stresses and strains of exercise and everyday life, promoting relaxation and wellbeing.
