Short courses from MSc paediatrics and child health
October 2020 - June 2021
COVID-19 update: During the current outbreak, we are considering options for the delivery of our Paediatric short courses. We are monitoring the situation as it evolves but will continue to run the programmes either remotely or on campus, when it is safe to do so. Please check each Paediatric course for details of format as this may vary.
We have a range of short courses spread throughout the academic year which are available both to students who are enrolled on the MSc in paediatrics and child health and as stand-alone CPD accredited programmes for all healthcare professionals. The courses are offered in line with level 3 of the RCPCH curriculum.
The courses available cover the following areas:
- Adolescent health
- Infectious diseases and host defence
- Law and ethics in paediatrics
- Paediatric sleep
- Paediatric ventilation - a hands-on practical short course
- Principles of paediatric allergy
- Serious infection and critical care in children
Who should attend?
The courses will benefit paediatricians, GPs, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals involved in child health.
