The Nursery celebrated World Down Syndrome Day on the 21st of March 2018.

The team decorated the entrance hall beautifully with an array of brightly coloured and decorated odd socks, pictures and books to raise awareness of Down’s syndrom

Two videos were also played on a big screen about Down Syndrome and the charity 21&Co who supports Down Syndrome.

On the day staff and children were encouraged to wear oddly coloured socks in support of World Down Syndrome Day as well as to make donations. A thank you to all those who donated as we raised a whopping £140 for the charity. Here’s a little message from 21&Co

“I am just so grateful for your £140 donation and all the awareness you raised through the activities and excellent sock decorations on World Down Syndrome Day. I love the photos which I will feature in our 21&Co April newsletter!!

So thank you very much indeed and wishing you all a happy and relaxing Easter break.”
