Imperial student memberships

Regardless of which campus you are based at, all Imperial students can use the sports centre and benefit from free gym* and swim. A fee is applicable to all other activities. Please visit the Ethos prices page for detailed information about prices, opening hours and bookings. 

*Please note that a non refundable £40 fee will apply for fitness orientations.

There are two memberships available to Imperial students, these are:

New members can register from Monday 18 September. In order to register and use the centre you must complete the following:

IMPERIAL COLLEGE STUDENT

  1. Register details online
  2. Watch building orientation
  3. Complete Health Commitment Survey (HCS)

You will then be registered and will need your College ID Card to enter the centre.  You will not have access to the gym.

IMPERIAL COLLEGE STUDENT GYM

  1. Register details online
  2. Watch building orientation
  3. Watch fitness orientation
  4. Complete Health Commitment Statement (HCS)
  5. Pay £40 (non-refundable) fitness orientation fee

You will then be registered and will need your College ID Card to enter the centre and gym facilities.

UROP Students

UROP (Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme) and IROP (International Research Opportunities Programme) students can enjoy same rates as Imperial students, including free use of the gym and pool. Please note that a non-refundable £40 fee will apply for fitness orientations. UROP and IROP students must email Ethos in order to register.

Non-Imperial students

Visiting students from the below list of Universities and Colleges as well as the Royal College of Music and Royal College of Arts can use Ethos facilities. Access is allowed at off-peak times from 1 October to 31 March and at peak times from 1 April to 30 September. 

Non-Imperial Students - External Visiting Students Membership

This membership type entitles you to use of the gym and pool subject to opening times and availability. All other Ethos Facilities are bookable for a fee. Membership lasts one month.

Cost: £35 per month

Non-Imperial Students - Royal College of Music / Royal College of Arts Membership

This membership type entitles you to use of the gym and pool subject to opening times and availability. All other Ethos Facilities are bookable for a fee. Membership lasts one month.

Cost: £28 per month
