Robot DE NIRO
This is a 200 kg dual-arm mobile manipulation robot that we affectionately call "DE NIRO" (Design Engineering's Natural Interaction Robot). It is the biggest robot in the lab and also the most user-friendly! It is based on a heavily modified Baxter robot with a mobile wheelbase, a liftable torso, bespoke hands, 3D LIDAR and many additional sensors.
Mobile robot fleet
A fleet of 4 identical mobile robots named: Quickie, Ferrari, Salsa and Tango. Fully autonomous in terms of power and control. Able to climb over obstacles up to 7 cm. Powerful 110 Ah batteries that last 2-3 hours of autonomous navigation. Maximum payload: 140 kg. Top speed: 10 km/h.
Tiny robotic manipulator
This is the smallest robot arm in the lab, assembled from scratch for teaching purpose and public outreach activities.

Coming soon... our new robot arm FRANKA EMIKA.
We have a large set of simulated robots we use for developing and testing of robot learning algorithms before trying them on physical robots.
