To apply for the key worker accommodation, follow the steps below. Please note that accommodation is not confirmed until you have received and signed the tenancy agreement.

Eighty Eight Wood Lane application process

Please note

Due to a significant water leak at Eighty Eight Wood Lane, there is a delay in the completion of the building. This means that the apartments will not be ready for occupation in February as planned. A new completion date will be communicated in the new year.

Additionally, due to popular demand, your application will be added to a waiting list

If you have any questions about this or the application process, please contact the team.

Wood Lane application process

Step One: Complete and submit the application form

Please complete the online application form. Due to popular demand, your application will be added to a waiting list.

You’ll be asked to confirm some key details, which will enable us to check that you are eligible. This includes:

  • Job title and employer
  • Total gross household income
  • The apartment type(s) you would like to apply for. Find out more about your eligibility.

You must ensure that you complete all the required fields. If information is missing from your application we will contact you, but your application will be deemed incomplete until all information is provided.

Step Two: Your application is reviewed

Your application will be reviewed and will be subject to the allocation and eligibility criteria, which was agreed at Provost’s Board.

If you are eligible, but no apartments are available, you will be added to the waiting list and will be notified when a suitable apartment becomes available.

Step Three: Reference checks and tenancy agreement

Before you can sign a tenancy agreement, you’ll need to provide us with the following documentation to confirm your eligibility status:

  • Proof of all income for anyone over the age of 15 living in the property. Acceptable proof includes a recent payslip or contract of employment. This will be subject to credit checks.
  • Details of two referees, including your current landlord. If you don’t currently rent, you can provide details of a guarantor.

You’ll then be asked to sign a 12-month tenancy agreement and pay a deposit (equivalent of one month's rent) plus your first month’s rent. Your apartment is then confirmed.

Step Four: Move in

You’ll be given a date to pick up the keys and move in to your new home.
