We are seeking to appoint a Research Associate to carry out Cyber-Physical Systems research with a particular focus on applications that monitor and control critical infrastructures.

Duties and responsibilities

The position will be part of the Data Centric Engineering stream in the Alan Turing Institute based at Imperial College’s South Kensington campus (see: https://www.turing.ac.uk/research/research-programmes/data-centric-engineering ) examining sensor/actuator based systems for resilient and robust infrastructures.

Essential requirements

Applicants should have a proven research record with publications in A-ranked venues and have a PhD in a related subject. In particular they should have an understanding of sensor/actuator systems and have a specialism in at least one of the following:

  • Sensor Network system security
  • Control systems
  • Sensor Network system reliability

Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistant within the salary range £33,397 - £37,486 per annum.
