Imperial College London’s Faculty of Medicine is one of the world’s top medical schools at one of the world’s most-respected universities.

The BSc Medical Biosciences (BMB) is a flagship new biomedical science undergraduate degree programme that fully utilises blended teaching pedagogy and was launched by the Faculty of Medicine in 2017.

You will be based in the FEO, supporting academics and clinicians to deliver outstanding biosciences education. We coordinate the student journey from admission to graduation, providing first-line services to students, supporting strategy and policy development, financial management, communications, governance and quality.

As Programme Administrator you will work closely with the Programme Officer, Head of Programme and Heads of Year, providing administrative support for the development and delivery of all aspects of the programme, ensuring that students are well supported.

You will provide high quality, timely information and respond to queries in a professional but approachable manner.

This is an exciting, varied role which provides an opportunity to work with colleagues from across the College.

Duties and responsibilities

Reporting to the Programme Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the programme including responding to inquiries from academics and students, updating content to the Virtual Learning Environment, developing and maintaining plans and schedules, and collating and communicating assessment information.

You will be expected to work closely with other teams and colleagues within the FEO.

Essential requirements

You must be educated to A Level or equivalent, have a high level of computer literacy, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have experience of working in a busy customer-focused office, and have a methodical and accurate approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
