The Institute of Global Health Innovation (IGHI) is looking for a Data Science Intern to join us for a minimum of 8 weeks. The IGHI forms part of Imperial’s strategy to find solutions to global challenges by focusing multidisciplinary research expertise on addressing international issues. IGHI focuses on the delivery of high quality and internationally relevant research organised around seven centres of excellence.
One of the centres is the Centre for Health Policy (CHP) which creates high-quality, clinically-driven research on the most important strategic challenges facing health systems.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be independently selecting the most appropriate statistical methodologies for analysis of healthcare datasets across a variety of projects.
You must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or Maths, having the ability to select appropriate statistical methodology when analysing data.
You must be an enthusiastic, organised and highly competent person able to multi-task and to work to deadlines.
This role is full-time and fixed-term for a minimum of 8 weeks.
