There are a number of options available for supporting Group work activities at Imperial. There are a number of collaboration tools available in Blackboard; Ed Discussion integrates with Blackboard courses and provides a more modern discussion board interface. Mentimeter is great for live polling your audience during a meeting or lecture. FeedbackFruits facilitates peer assessment and Intedashboard supports TBL activities.

InteDashboard is a Team Based learning (TBL) platform that integrates with Blackboard. It helps teaching staff implement TBL sessions, helping students improve knowledge through individual testing and group collaboration.

TBL is a teaching strategy that offers the benefits of small group learning within large classes by creating opportunities for students to apply conceptual knowledge through a systematic process of preparatory work, individual assessment, teamwork and immediate feedback.

FeedbackFruits is a peer assessment collaboration tool which enables group peer assessment, peer to peer assessment and self-assessment to be carried out online.

FeedbackFruits allows for students to participate in Group Member Evaluation, a function which enables peers to assess each other on group work carried out. Groups assess their own members through a combination of predefined rubrics and free comments.

ed discussion is a question and answer discussion board used for teaching and learning. It can be accessed through a Blackboard Learn course or directly through the ed discussion website, via the Imperial College single sign-on.

It provides a selection of question types and enables you to view live feedback through your web-browser. Participation from the audience is browser based and can take place on desktop, laptop or mobile devices.
