Four researchers from the Tate Group took part in a CRUK outreach event last month, held specifically for cancer research supporters.
Postdoctoral research associates Elena De Vita and Montse Tersa and PhD students Andrea Goya Grocin and Ana Losada De La Lastra took part in the ‘Revealing Research’ event arranged by the CRUK Imperial Centre. The day provided an opportunity for CRUK supporters, including shop volunteers and marathon runners, to see the work in progress as a result of their support.
Elena, Montse, Andrea and Ana all work on projects funded by CRUK and demonstrated how proteins can be ‘fished out’ of cells using chemical biology approaches.
