Network abstraction with backbones and skeletons: Spanning trees versus convex skeletons
Many real networks are either too large or complex to be analyzed directly. Therefore, networks are often simplified or "sparsified" in a way that preserves their structural properties. This talk looks at approaches using network backbones and skeletons.
