On the 2nd of July we had the CDT Festival of Science.
Every year, all the CDTs at Imperial gather together to organise an event which runs throughout a day, each year with a different theme. This year we decided for Science&Society. Science surely impacts Society, but how does it do it? How can it do it better? What is, in my research, my relation with the public? We tried to address all of these questions in a morning session which was concerned with Science Communication and an afternoon session about Climate Change. In the afternoon, we were delighted to have Sir Norman Lamb MP, who is chair of the Science and Technology Select Committee since 2017, and gave us the Policymaker perspective on Climate Change.
