2017 National Student Survey
The 2017 National Student Survey (NSS) results demonstrate the Earth Science and Engineering Department's teaching excellence. Across all our undergraduate degrees:
- 97% of students are overall satisfied with the quality of the course;
- 99% of students say staff are good at explaining things;
- 99% of students say good advice was available when they needed to make study choices on their course;
- 99% of students say the course is well organised and running smoothly.
Students were also satisfied with the resources for their course: 100% agree that the IT resources and facilities provided have supported their learning well; 100% have been able to access course-specific resources when needed. 89% of students feel part of a community of staff and students.
