We are seeking to appoint a Postgraduate Education Administrator to work within the Education Team in the Department of Surgery & Cancer. This is a maternity cover for one year.

Duties and responsibilities

Working closely with the Education Manager, Course Directors, key academics staff and postgraduate education administrators you will be responsible for providing curriculum support for the MSc Health Policy and MRes Medical Robotics Image Guided Intervention. 

You will be expected to undertake duties in an independent manner without the need for close supervision, and be capable of taking the initiative and making decisions. The role will require extensive contact with a variety of people both internal and external to the College, and you will provide support to the students throughout their programme.

Essential requirements

You will have a customer service focus, providing high quality, timely information and responding to queries in a professional but approachable manner. This should be supported by skills enabling you to develop and interpret administrative procedures, a thorough knowledge of Windows based software – in particular Excel and Powerpoint – and a working knowledge of interrogating databases.  You will enjoy working in a busy, dynamic environment as part of the Departmental Education Team. 

The post is based at the South Kensington campus but you will be expected to provide a service to both postgraduate students and staff to all sites at which the Department operates.

This is a full-time, fixed term post available for a period of 1 year, to start as soon as possible. It may also be suitable as a secondment opportunity.
