WRDS is a source of financial, accounting, economic, management, marketing, banking, and insurance data.

Username and password access
First time users will be asked to register to receive a username and password.
Request a username and password for further features available for advanced research. Currently available for undergraduates, master’s and PhD students, faculty staff and research assistants. 

PLEASE NOTE: Users will be required to log in with two-factor authentication (2FA). For guidance on loging in with two-factor authentication,  please see the following online guide.

IP address (Day Pass) access
Available from PC clusters in Central Library and the Business School. Enter your Imperial email address to be provided with a Day Pass. Access for other locations on the South Kensington campus and off-campus is via username and password.

The Library provides access to the following databases within WRDS:

• BoardEx Data - UK, North America and European datasets
• COMPUSTAT
• CRSP 
• Option Metrics (US data)
• Preqin (Private Equity & Venture Capital)
• Sustainalytics Global Access
• WRDS-Reuters DealScan (under Thomson/Refinitiv)

There are also a number of free access data sets, and a list of these are available under the My Subscriptions section of the WRDS homepage.
