Applications for our Maintenance Apprenticeship Scheme are now closed. If you have any questions about the scheme, please contact us.

What are the entry requirements?

Applicants will need to have (or expect to gain) grade 9–4 (A*–C) at GCSE in Maths and English. No previous work experience is necessary, but you should have an interest in pursuing a technical career within building services engineering.

Important: to be considered for interview, you must tell us about your interest in building services engineering and maintenance. Has a school or work project sparked your interest in making or mending? Did you repair something at home? Make sure you tell us about this!

Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS)

With effect from 21 May 2021, any individual who will be undertaking research activities, at PhD level or above, in one of the Academic Subjects/Fields of Research relevant to ATAS will be required to obtain a free of charge ATAS certificate before they can apply for a visa to work in the UK. This will include research, academic, engineering and technician staff applying for Skilled Worker visas. Some exemptions apply.
