As an attendee of Alumni Weekend, you will receive a drinks voucher to use at either FiveSixEight or the Union Bar, both based at the Student Union in Beit Quad.

Open midday till late, it’s the perfect place for you to catch up with your classmates, friends and family. Enjoy a refreshing drink in the sun (hopefully!) and relax on the grass or picnic benches. A vibrant area filled with alumni and visitors each year, come bump into old colleagues or explore our traditional old bar. Steeped in history, the Union Bar contains an array of trophies, signs, shields, and relics, including a collection of pewter tankards.

Built in 1911, the area has seen some changes over the years. Come back to reminisce and check them out for yourself!
