Stata is an interactive data management and statistical analysis program, which has become very popular among researchers in most disciplines. The programme provides a broad range of statistics. It is very user-friendly and also has internet capabilities.
Course Outline 2018/19
- Two-way ANOVA - interpreting interactions
- Multiple linear regression - including stepwise selection methods and regression diagnostics
- Introduction to Survival Analysis (life tables and Kaplan-Meier)
This is a 1 day course following on from the Introduction to Statistics Using Stata and Data Management & Statistical Analysis Using Stata courses.
This course presents more advanced statistical techniques such as Analysis of variance (ANOVA), Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and multiple regression. It also provides introduction to survival analysis.
Tutor: Joseph Eliahoo
Entry requirements: Have attended the Introduction to Statistics Using Stata course or the Data Management & Statistical Analysis Using Stata course. Otherwise, at least some familiarity with statistics and the Stata software.
This course can also be attended jointly with the Logistic Regression & Survival Analysis Using Stata course at a discounted price.
This course has been approved by the Royal College of Physicians for 6 CPD credits.
If you are not able to attend on the day, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you can.
