The Laboratory for Integrated Green Harvesting & Transport, the LIGHT Lab (Cao Group), is dedicated to addressing the global grand challenges in climate and sustainability by re-engineering how we capture, transport, and convert energy at the molecular and systemic scales. Our vision is to pioneer the next generation of sustainable mechanical, biological, and chemical systems by mastering the precision control of energy carriers, such as photons, phonons, and electrons, at multiple scales.
