Rodrigo wins the Unwin Prize
Congratulations to Rodrigo Thiers-Moggia who has been announced as the 2021 recipient of the WC Unwin Prize for the best PhD thesis in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London. In his thesis, “Seismic control of rocking structures with inerters”, Rodrigo made substantial and original research contributions relying on analytical, numerical and design studies of rocking structures which utilise inerters for seismic control.
